How Can severe Stomach Pain Along With Chest Pressure Be Treated?
I had a very bad stomach ache and then finally ended up in the bathroom on the toilet numerous times.. in the mean time - my chest had very bad pressure and ribs ached.... I finally fell asleep... upon getting up this morning, I still fee pressure on my chest and ribs hurt a little. very tired... when I went to work - just the walk from the car to the elevator caught me out of breath (which is unusual for me)... All day - I keep burping and the pressure on my chest is still there but not as bad as last night. I called my primary care doctor and they suggested I go to hospital if pressure continues with being out of breath very easily. What would you say? I do have a hiata hernia... Could this be getting worse? As I am constantly burping
With a history of stomach pain, frequent bowel movements, pressure sensation in the chest and persistent burping, this may indicate that the chest fullness/pressure is more than likely linked to this and not to the heart or lungs.
If you are still not sure however or the discomfort is severe, then you should be seen.
The use of an anti acid may help to relieve the fullness and also help with the burping as well. This can be combined with tums or peptobismol for faster relief
I hope this helps
